How do I log in?

At the bottom of the menu, you will see boxes in which to enter your "Username" and "Password". Enter your username and password then click the "Login" button.

Do I have to log in every time I go to the website?

No, but if you don't log in, any items that are restricted to RSA Members only will not be visible to you. You must log in to view any information restricted to RSA members or to amend your details. <back to top>

I don't have a username, how do I get one?

If you are new to the RSA, you will receive your username and password very soon.  If you have been a member for some time, you will have received a letter in July 2007 containing your username and initial password. If you have forgotten your username, please contact the Honorary Secretary.

I've forgotten my password

At the bottom of the menu, on the left, you will see a link for "Lost Password". Click this and you will be taken to a page where you can enter your email address and username. Click the "Send Password" button and a NEW password will be sent to the email address held on file. You can use this new password to login to the website. You can then go to the "Change Login Details" page to change the password to something more memorable. <back to top>

Does the Webmaster, Honorary Secretary, or Honorary Treasurer know my password?

No. Passwords are held on the system encoded. They can not be seen by any website administrator.

How do I change my username or password to something more memorable?

Log in to the website. Once logged in you will see the "Change Login Details" button at the bottom of the menu. Click the button and you will see the email address and username held on the system for you. You can update your email address here if necessary, and enter a new username if you wish.   To change your password, enter the password that you'd like to use. Enter the same password again in the box below for verification. Click the "Save" button at the top right of the page to save your new details, or click the red "X" to cancel. The details shown for me on the RSA Members List are not correct, how do I change them?

Log in to the website. Once logged in you will see the "View or Edit My Details" button at the bottom of the menu. Click the button and you will see the details held for you. You will see that there are "tabs" at the top for: "Contact Information", "Professional Information", and "RSA Membership". Find the information you wish to enter or change and type the correct information into the appropriate boxes. Go to the bottom of the page and click the "Update" button. <back to top>

What does "Location" mean on the "Contact Details"?

The "Address" details held by the system are for use by the RSA and will not be displayed on the website. If you want to show your location you can go into "My Details" and enter it in the "Location" field (remember to click the "Update" button at the bottom of the page). You can enter anything in the Location field, for example your Town, City, County, or Region.

My email address/telephone number is not being shown on the RSA Member List, how do I get it to show?

Log in to the website. Once logged in you will see the "View or Edit My Details" button at the bottom of the menu. Click the button and you will see the details held for you. You will see that there are "tabs" at the top for: "Contact Information", "Professional Information", and "RSA Membership". There are TWO fields in the "Contact Information" for email and TWO for telephone number. One is the email/ telephone number for the RSA to contact you, these will NOT be shown on the website. The other email and telephone fields are simply called "Email Address" and "Telephone" and these will, if completed, be displayed on the website. There are some details on "My Details" that I can't change, how do I correct them?

Some entries should only be changed by the Honorary Secretary. Please contact him if your details are incorrect.

I am not listed in the RSA Members list
